عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ: "اللَّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي دِينِيَ الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِي وَأَصْلِحْ لِي دُنْيَاىَ الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَاشِي وَأَصْلِحْ لِي آخِرَتِي الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَادِي وَاجْعَلِ الْحَيَاةَ زِيَادَةً لِي فِي كُلِّ خَيْرٍ وَاجْعَلِ الْمَوْتَ رَاحَةً لِي مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ". (( رواه مسلم ))
Abu Huraira reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to supplicate (in these words): " O Allah, set right for me my religion which is the safeguard of my affairs. And set right for me the affairs of my world wherein is my living. And set right for me my Hereafter on which depends my after-life. And make the life for me (a source) of abundance for every good and make my death a source of comfort for me protecting me against every evil." [Muslim].
Sahih Muslim 2720. Chapter 18: Supplications [Of The Prophet (SAW)], Book 48: The Book Pertaining to the Remembrance of Allah, Supplication, Repentance and Seeking Forgiveness.
عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "كلمتان خفيفتان على اللسان، ثقيلتان في الميزان، حبيبتان إلى الرحمن: سبحان الله وبحمده، سبحان الله العظيم". (( متفق عليه ))
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "There are two statements that are light for the tongue to remember, heavy in the Scales and are dear to the Merciful: 'Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allahil-Azim [Glory be to Allah and His is the praise, (and) Allah, the Greatest is free from imperfection]'." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Riyad as-Salihin 1408. Chapter 244: The Excellence of the Remembrance of Allah, Book 15: The Book of the Remembrance of Allah.
حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، عَنْ ضُبَارَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلِيكٍ الأَلْهَانِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ إِنَّ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ بْنَ رِبْعِيٍّ أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: "قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى إِنِّي فَرَضْتُ عَلَى أُمَّتِكَ خَمْسَ صَلَوَاتٍ وَعَهِدْتُ عِنْدِي عَهْدًا أَنَّهُ مَنْ جَاءَ يُحَافِظُ عَلَيْهِنَّ لِوَقْتِهِنَّ أَدْخَلْتُهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُحَافِظْ عَلَيْهِنَّ فَلاَ عَهْدَ لَهُ عِنْدِي". (( رواه أبو داود))
Narrated Abu Qatadah ibn Rib'iyy: Allah , the Exalted said: I made five times' prayers obligatory on your people, and I took a guarantee that if anyone observes them regularly at their times, I shall admit him to Paradise; if anyone does not offer them regularly, there is no such guarantee of Mine for him. [Abu Dawud].

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "كل أمر ذي بال لا يبدأ فيه بالحمد لله فهو أقطع". (( رواه أبو داود وغيره ))
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Any matter of importance which is not begun with Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah) remains defective." [Abu Dawud].
Riyad as-Salihin 1394. Chapter 242: The Obligation of Gratitude, Book 13: The Book of Praise and Gratitude to Allah.
عن معاوية رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "من يرد الله به خيرًا يفقه في الدين". (( متفق عليه ))
Mu'awiyah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah said, "When Allah wishes good for someone, He bestows upon him the understanding of Deen." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Riyad as-Salihin 1376. Chapter 241: Virtues of Knowledge which is Learnt and Taught for the sake of Allah, Book 12: The Book of Knowledge.
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ عَنِ الإِزَارِ، فَقَالَ عَلَى الْخَبِيرِ سَقَطْتَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: "إِزْرَةُ الْمُسْلِمِ إِلَى نِصْفِ السَّاقِ وَلاَ حَرَجَ - أَوْ لاَ جُنَاحَ - فِيمَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مَا كَانَ أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ فَهُوَ فِي النَّارِ مَنْ جَرَّ إِزَارَهُ بَطَرًا لَمْ يَنْظُرِ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ".
Narrated Abdur Rahman: I asked Abu Sa'id al-Khudri about wearing lower garment. He said: You have come to the man who knows it very well. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The way for a believer to wear a lower garment is to have it halfway down his legs and he is guilty of no sin if it comes halfway between that and the ankles, but what comes lower than the ankles is in Hell. On the day of Resurrection. Allah will not look at him who trails his lower garment conceitedly.
Sunan Abi Dawud 4093. Chapter 1531: To What Extent The Izar Should Be Let Down, Book 34: Clothing (Kitab Al-Libas) Grade: Sahih (Al-Albani).
عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "كل أمتي يدخلون الجنة إلا من أبى". قيل: ومن يأبى يا رسول الله قال: "من أطاعني دخل الجنة، ومن عصاني فقد أبى". (( رواه البخاري ))
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Everyone of my Ummah will enter Jannah except those who refuse". He was asked: "Who will refuse?" He (ﷺ) said, "Whoever obeys me, shall enter Jannah, and whosoever disobeys me, refuses to (enter Jannah)". [Al- Bukhari].
Riyad as-Salihin 158. Chapter 16: Observing the Sunnah and the manners of its obedience, Book: The Book of Miscellany.
عن أبي ذر جندب بن جنادة، وأبي عبد الرحمن معاذ بن جبل، رضي الله عنهما، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: "اتق الله حيثما كنت واتبع السيئة الحسنة تمحها، وخالق الناس بخلق حسن". (( رواه الترمذي وقال حديث حسن ))
Abu Dharr and Mu'adh bin Jabal (May Allah be pleased with them) reported that: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Fear Allah wherever you are, do good deeds after doing bad ones, the former will wipe out the latter, and behave decently towards people". [At- Tirmidhi, who categorized it as Hadith Hasan].

عن أبي أمامة رضي الله عنه قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: "اقرءوا القرآن فإنه يأتي يوم القيامة شفيعًا لأصحابه". (( رواه مسلم ))
Abu Umamah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "Read the Qur'an, for it will come as an intercessor for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection." [Muslim].
Riyad as-Salihin 991. Chapter 180: The Excellence of Reciting the Qur'an, Book 8: The Book of Virtues.
عن البراء بن عازب رضي الله عنهما قال: أمرنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بعيادة المريض، واتباع الجنازة، وتشميت العاطس، وإبرار المقسم، ونصر المظلوم، وإجابة الداعى، وإفشاء السلام. (( متفق عليه ))
Al-Bara' bin `Azib (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has ordered us to visit the sick, to follow the funeral (of a dead believer), respond to the sneezer (i.e., by saying to him: Yarhamuk-Allah after he says: Al-hamdu lillah), to help those who vow to fulfill it, to help the oppressed, to accept the invitation extended by the inviter; and to promote greetings (i.e., saying As-Salamu `Alaikum). [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

وعن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت لم يكن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يصوم من شهر أكثر من شعبان فإنه كان يصوم شعبان كله وفي رواية: كان يصوم شعبان إلا قليلا. (( متفق عليه ))
'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) did not observe voluntary Saum (fasting) so frequently during any other month as he did during Sha'ban. He observed Saum throughout the month of Sha'ban.
Another narration is: He (ﷺ) observed Saum during the whole month of Sha'ban except a few days. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Riyad as-Salihin 1247. Chapter 225: The Excellence of Observing Saum (Fasting) in the months of Muharram and Sha'ban and the Secred Months, Book 8: The Book of Virtues.
عن البراء بن عازب رضى الله عنهما قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا أوى إلى فراشه نام على شقه الأيمن، ثم قال: "اللهم أسلمت نفسي إليك، ووجهت وجهي إليك، وفوضت أمري إليك، وألجأت ظهري إليك، رغبة ورهبة إليك، لا ملجأ ولا منجى منك إلا إليك. آمنت بكتابك الذي أنزلت. ونبيك الذي أرسلت ". ((رواه البخاري بهذا اللفظ في كتاب الأدب من صحيحه ))
Al-Bara' bin 'Azib (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: Whenever Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) went to bed, he would lie down on his right side and recite: "Allahumma aslamtu nafsi ilaika, wa wajjahtu wajhi ilaika, wa fawwadtu amri ilaika, wa 'alja'tu zahri ilaika, raghbatan wa rahbatan ilaika, la malja'a wa la manja illa ilaika. Amantu bikitabikal-ladhi anzalta, wa nabiyyikal-ladhi arsalta [O Allah! I have submitted myself to You, I have turned my face to You, committed my affairs to You, and depend on You for protection out of desire for You and out of fear of You (expecting Your reward and fearing Your punishment). There is no refuge and no place of safety from You but with You. I believed in the Book You have revealed, and in the Prophet You have sent (i.e., Muhammad (ﷺ)).]" [Al-Bukhari].

وعن ابن عباس رضى الله عنهما أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "إلبسوا من ثيابكم البياض؛ فإنها من خير ثيابكم، وكفنوا فيها موتاكم". ((رواه أبو داود والترمذي))
Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "Put on white clothes because they are the best; and use them for shrouding your dead." [Abu Dawud and At- Tirmidhi].
Riyad as-Salihin 778. Chapter 117: The Excellence of Wearing White Clothes and the Permissibility of Wearing Red, Green, Yellow and Black Clothes Made from Cotton and Linen but not Silk, Book 3: The Book of Dress.
وعن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت: كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا عصفت الريح قال: "اللهم إني أسألك خيرها، وخير ما فيها، وخير ما أُرسلت به، وأعوذ بك من شرها، وشر ما فيها، وشر ما أُرسلت به". (( رواه مسلم ))
'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) said: Whenever the wind blew strongly, The Prophet (ﷺ) would say: "Allahumma inni as'aluka khairaha, wa khaira ma fiha, wa khaira ma ursilat bihi. Wa a'udhu bika min sharriha, wa sharri ma fiha, wa sharri ma ursilat bihi. (O Allah, I beg of You its good and the good of that which it contains and the good of the purpose for which it has been sent; and I seek Your Refuge from its evil and the evil of that which it contains and the evil of the purpose for which it has been sent)." [Muslim].

عن عمر بن أبى سلمة رضى الله عنهما قال: قال لي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " سم الله وكل بيمينك، وكل مما يليك ". ((متفق عليه))
'Umar bin Abu Salamah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), said to me, "Mention Allah's Name (i.e., say Bismillah before starting eating), eat with your right hand, and eat from what is near you." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

وعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مر على رجل من الأنصار وهو يعظ أخاه في الحياء، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "دعه فإن الحياء من الإيمان". (( متفق عليه ))
Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) passed by a man of the Ansar who was admonishing his brother regarding shyness. Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Leave him alone, for modesty is a part of Iman." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
